At the completion of two days at the 2008 Aussies in Perth, Dixon park with just one boat crew and another 4 competitors have won an amazing 4 medals, 2 Gold, a silver and a bronze…….

Arch Mawkes and Brian Fisher teamed up on day 1 to take out the board rescue and notch up Dixon Parks first gold for the titles.

The clubs 200+ Boat crew of Trevor Dyson, Paul Murray, Ian Kerr, Mark Wright and Peter Wilkinson took gold yet again, to make it two gold for the club while

Bruce MacDonald collected not one but two medals. Bruce finished with a silver in the surf swim and a bronze in the rescue tube.

Unlucky not to win more medals with a couple of 4ths and final placings from Brian in the tube, Arch, Bruce and Gavin Stewart in the taplin and Bruce, Arch and Brian in the surf teams.
